Zsuzsa Egresi
She is a representative copper and zink-plate artist in the field of Hungarian graphics. She has a special image toolkit.
She was born in Dunaújváros, where she returned after spending nearly ten years in Italy. She is a self-made artist. She mentions the influence of Béla Kondor, Arnold Gross and László Nagy on her work. Since 1980 she has been a member of the Hungarian Fine Art Foundation. Since 1981 she has been studying at the BRERA Academy of Fine Arts in Milan at the Faculty of Stage Design. She is a member of the Phantasten Group in Nünberg.
Starting with the traditional way of Hungarian graphics she created her colourful special visual world, often with the atmosphere of Italian carnivals, which by now can be seen not only in her graphics but also in her oil paintings.
